This Weblog has been designed to stimulate thinking and discussion and document our collaborative learning process as we create information products for education. Our learning adopts a constructivist approach and our products will continuously strive towards “meaningful learning”.
This space will serve as a community of practice for teachers in training to collaboratively develop and visualise our thinking and link to our Information Products.
In the green box on the right side you can explore technologies that interest you or progress in a more lineal fashion following a task based learning approach.
This Weblog will be linked to a Wiki where you can demonstrate higher order thinking skills. Comments on this page will be a concise summary of our learning process.
These are the tools to set up extrinsic motivation. Your intrinsic motivation will determine your ability to think and create. Follow your interests and see ICT as a tool to support meaningful learning opportunities in your class. You will be assessed on both your process and product.
I recommend starting with “Web 2.0.” a podcast narrative from an ESL teacher in Spain. Tasks 1 – 3 are to be completed by 3 March 2008. Please anticipate problems and find solutions to achieve this deadline. Finally, enjoy your learning !!
